Ursula Katarina Moske

Ursula Katarina Moske, daughter of the late Adam Perlein and Luise (Klein) Perlein Hartmann, was born April 9, 1945 in Coburg, Germany where she grew up and attended school. Ursula met the love of her life, a United States soldier, by the name of Michael Paul Moske and they were united in marriage on June 22, 1979. They shared over 39 years of marriage together and seven children: Andrea, Norbert, John, Thomas, Thorsten, Timothy and Kimberly. Due to Michael being in the military, Ursula and the family were stationed at different areas of the world. The most important thing to her was being a supportive Command Sergeant Major’s wife and mother to her children. However, while they were stationed at Fort Leonard Wood during the mid-1980’s, Ursula worked at the Quartermaster Laundry as a receiving supervisor. Ursula was an excellent cook and homemaker. She always wanted her home to be a place where people could come together and relax. In her spare time, she enjoyed pogo, the game Angry Birds, doing jigsaw puzzles, bowling, and being outside whether it was fishing, swimming or playing with the dogs. Most importantly, she loved her family tremendously and cherished those times they were able to spend together. Ursula passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 in her home having attained the age of 73 years. Ursula leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: CSM (Ret) Michael P. Moske of Waynesville, MO; seven children: Andrea Bowsher (Billie) of Kempner, TX, Norbert Schweinsberg (Tamara) of BristoW, VA, John Moske of Copperas Cove, TX, Thomas Moske of Corpus Christi, TX, Thorsten Moske (Jennifer) of St. Jacob, IL, Timothy Moske (Heather) of Giddings, TX and Kimberly Moske (Adam Lewis) of Waynesville, MO; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; Michael Hartmann and two sisters: Helga Böhm and Erika Kohler all of Germany; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Ursula was preceded in death by her stepdad: Heinz Hartmann and one brother: Walter Hartmann. Ursula will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert with Chaplain (CPT) Jeremy Dunn officiating. The songs “Ava Maria” and “Amazing Grace” were played. Serving as escorts were Norbert Schweinsberg, John Moske, Thomas Moske, Thorsten Moske, Timothy Moske and Billie Bowsher. Burial followed in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ursula Moske and may be left at the funeral home.
